Grandma’s Ambrosia Salad

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 1/2 cups mandarin orange slices , canned or fresh
  • 1 1/2 cups diced pineapple , canned or fresh
  • 2 medium bananas sliced
  • 1 pound strawberries sliced
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes , or shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
