• Air Fryer

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons high heat cooking oil – such as extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon table salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • Start off by preparing the seasoning for the chicken.  Add the salt, thyme, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika to a small bowl and mix together.  Set aside.
  • Place all the chicken thighs in a large bowl and add the oil. Toss the chicken in the oil until all the chicken pieces are thoroughly covered.
  • Next, sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the chicken thighs. Toss the chicken in the seasoning until each piece is evenly coated.
  • Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the basket or tray of your air fryer. Make sure not to overcrowd the basket, keeping the chicken pieces from touching each other. *The chicken thighs may need to be cooked in batches, depending on how big your air fryer is.
  • Cook the chicken at 400 degrees for 22 to 24 minutes. Halfway through the cooking time, at around the 10-minute mark, remove the basket from the air fryer and flip the chicken.
  • Serve and enjoy!
