UTIs are more common in women who are post menopause, as tissues in the vagina and urethra gets thinner and drier after menopause and becomes more vulnerable for bacterial infections.
Some of the common symptoms of urinary tract infections include fever, burning during urination, constant need to urinate, a feeling of fullness in the bladder.
Urinary tract infections in men mostly occurs as a result of swollen prostate gland, which abstracts the urine flow.
